im looking for a program to rip from dvd to harddrive and compress it without loseing to much in visuals, need to compress the files to around 700 mb or so also need a program that can split files or join them. Tring to upload these files to a torrent but dont quite know what programs are best for this type of job. I know how to rip them from dvd and backup to another dvd but this is new for me any help would be appreciated.

For torrent's, something like AutoGK to convert the DVD to avi: http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/...sing_autogk.cfm
