Need advice on what's the best program to use to extract DTS 5.1 audio to DTS.wav from an Mkv or DVD to burn to a cd only(No video)...

I know that with mkvtoolnix you can extract whatever audio is in the container(.mkv file), including subs.

Okay so this separates the video/audio, how do i convert it to wav from here? Its now an Mkv with audio only...

Tried using ConvertXtoDvd but it wont work if it detects no video...

You can try this but I've heard VDub doesn't handle Matroska that well unless Avisynth is used and I know nothing of it: http://www.videohelp.com/forum/archive/e...od-t280779.html Backward way but it should work until you find a better method, Alltoavi will convert your mkv to avi and from there, it should work: http://alltoavi.sourceforge.net/

Didn't use All2Avi cause its DTS audio, don't think it will convert digital sound to an Avi.

Yeah, I wondered about that DTS. Maybe http://www.videohelp.com/tools/DAudioK or something to convert to AC3 or http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&postid=566664 look's like it may have something.
