hey guys i have a dsl here that will charge np however i can not get it to turn on any ideas?

I have checked all of the connections to the main board and all seem to be okay and fitted correctly but no matter what i do i cant seem to get it to fire up

F1 and F2 are okay they have metered out as still connecting

anything else i can do that i may have missed?

If completely dead (no lights, nothing) , possibly Power switch.

Did you ohm it out? Unless you did how do you know it's "fine".

yup i did Ohm it out makes a positive connection when the switch is pushed in to the on postion

It's a 4 pole switch with multiple connections.

yeah i can see that im not a total novice i have a working ds here and have worked out what is activated when the switch is pushed into the on postion and both correspont with each other

new logic board time unless you have SMT soldering equipment and want to replace the ICs one by one.
