I just purchased X-pert DVD Maker USB2.0 from Kworld for the purpose of transferring old vhs movies onto DVD. For $50 I'm really pleased with the capture process, it's simple and the resulting AVI files (and then the converted MPEG2 files) play well on the windows media player. problem: the last step of the process is an auto-authoring and then a burn to DVD. lovely, except none of the attempts have produced a disc that's recognized.

Any thots? I have been duplicating dvd's using a combination of dvd shrink, IMG tool and dvd decrypter that works wonderfully, I am sure if I could get these mpeg2 files to iso format or even converted into VOB files in a VIDEO_TS folder, I could burn them. Barring that, any idea what's going wrong with the burn process? I'm getting a little tired of adding to my irridescent purple frisbee collection.
