Hi

I would like to add a link to my web page in my signature my webpage is

I read the forum rules and it seems that this would not violate the rules. here are the rules:

I don't want to get banned so could someone confirm this. It would also be great if an administrator or moderator could advise me here.

Yeah i have tried to PM ddp and and replied after his comments but have not gotten a response. And he mentioned affiliate adevertising which was not directly in the link.

Could you tell me what links are aloud does the landing page have to be completely add free or something like that.

Yeah, but at least im doing the right thing and i wont break the rules intentionally. Some forums allow people to have links in their signatures as long as they give back to the forum correctly which I have been doing. I assumed after reading the rules here it would be the same but i was mistaken.

Never mind i wont have any links in my signature then.

To wrap this up, external links are allowed only as long as it's obvious they're not being used to advertise, for example a few of our regulars have DVDFab (paid for software though there is a free version) in their signature, but they are members who are known to not be (ab)using the privilege.
