when i download music from my kazza gold i get a dat file in my shared folder which stops me burning to cd help anyone

You should try to use a different file sharing program or if you really like kazaa then you can get kazaalite, its bascially kazaa without the adware and all. Check this website out, www.slyck.com/ft.php its got alot of good programs.

the dat file is the temporary file created by kazaa / kazaa lite whilst downloading. used when resuming a download etc

allow the download to finish and the dat file should disappear and be replaced with the actual mp3/wma or what ever file downloaded.

like i said - the dat file is not your music, its just a temp download file.

if your trying to burn while the song is still downloading you are either very impatient or have one hellova connection speed to download as fast as a cd writer =)
