Help with VOB file.

I used this video converter to convert an Xvid/DivX movie into a DVD and it saved the file as a VOB files. How do I burn the VOB files so I can watch on a standalone. I don't think it has the IFO or any other files just the VOB. Thanks.

A DVD folder must contain .VOB .IFO and .BUP files.
It can be burned to disk using ImgBurn.

You can use DVD Flick to convert AVI to DVD format.
It will optionally burn the disk using ImgBurn (included).

As an alternative - since you have VOB files (odd that a conversion program would not produce the IFO and BUP files) you can use Vob2Mpg to convert the VOB files into a large mpeg-2 file.
You can load that file into DVD Flick and click 'Project Settings' > 'Video' > 'Advanced' > 'Copy mpeg-2 Streams'

This ensures that the video is simply authored to DVD and not recoded.
Remember to set the Video Target format to NTSC (North America) or PAL (EU).

Vob2MPg runs fast - its only purpose is to take the multiple VOB files that comprise a movie Title and join them into a single mpeg-2 file.

DVD Flick is normally used to convert different video types (like avi files) into DVD Format and author them so that they can be burned to disk.
It's the conversion to DVD compliance that takes time - not the authoring.

If DVD Flick is given DVD compliant files (like the output from vob2mpg) it simply authors the files - there is no encoding or converting taking place.

I would be interested to know WHICH converter just makes vobs and nothing else... seems very odd to me.

FAVC has a bad habit of sometimes doing this. 0 kb VIDEO_TS.IFOs. It appears to be bitrate spike related. Many so called fixes, usually setting the max bitrate to something below 7000 k/bs have been offered as a work around.
