I just upgraded WMP to vs.9 so I need some help with this issue. Only the voice audio on all DVD movies is distorted - otherwise it works just fine.

All retail DVD movies play with severe voice audio distortion (sounds similar to playing at extremely slow speed). The video is fine. Music from DVD movies &/or other music CD's/DVD's also plays fine.

When I use Power DVD software, or when the earlier version of WMP was still intsalled, the same movie plays just fine. This pretty well rules out hardware issues.

What's wrong here & how do I fix it? Your help will be much appreciated.
