NDS Backup Tool Help Mega Slow

I have been trying for some time now to get our last game backed up. This one is Pokemon Platinum. Seems to freeze and 50-64% So for I have tried two different PC running the ALFTP server. I used a program called WireShark the watched the network and examines the packets and so far in the ROM dump that is running as I type this I see that the Source IP address (My NDS) is having to retransmit nearly every packet. I hope to see if at some time when thing do freeze up if the nds just quits. I have had other troubles with other game as well but this one is terrible. The other troubles I have had where when I attempted to dump the Save Game Data. I have Seen on another web page this

What is Patch it for DLDI? The Answer is
Do I need to Do this? The Program works so I'm guessing not.
I'm using a EZFlash V flashcart.

I use an alternative to backing up my own rom. Shame to me but I do still have my Original.

Now If I can just get the .sav file I will be happy. Only a bit into the game but would be nice.
