how to update from 5.5 MHU, when new CFW comes out?

Hi
I just wanted to ask if I will have any problems updating from 5.5 MHU or GEN when lets say something like a 6.00 m33 or GEN comes out
Do I just update it the same way you would from an m33 to a newer m33 cfw
or do I need to go back or something ?

this is my first time using a firmware thats not from dax, so I just want to make sure that I didnt f up by upgrading to a 5.5 cfw

I'm in the same boat. 5.50 GenB. Will have to wait til something comes out first I suppose before we know for sure.
PSP Fat FW route over a few years now:
3.03 >1.5 >3.10 OE-A >3.40 OE-A >3.52M33-3 >3.90M33-3 > 4.01 M33 > 4.01 M33-2 ... > Gen D3

one note to add is that dark alex announced about 2 weeks ago that there will be no 6.00 M33 . .. . .

I'm using firmware 5.00 M33 on my PSP 2000, if I update to firmware 5.50 or 5.51, can I still play ISO/CSO???? I really wanna make sure b4 updating coz I know firmare 6.00 cant... i dont want to update to 6.00 coz I have too many cso/iso files...
atm, I can't play my gran turismo iso i've just downloaded... so i dont know what to do.... should i update it to 5.51? some comments on the site I DL the game says I need 5.55 to play all newly released games..... wat do i do???

Just don't update to official firmware. Also GT can't be played yet.
Xbox 360: Slim untouched with a faked 320 GB harddrive for XBL, phat with LT 3.0, played Halo early, so going on live would be an instand ban, also with a faked 320 GB harddrive
PS3: Untouched 160 GB Slim, 60 GB Fat with latest Rogero and 160 GB internal harddrive.
PSVita: hardly ever play it
GameCube: Black with a Viper chip installed. With gameboy player. Trying to get a Wavebird controller.

btw Im playing Disgaea 2 now , so right now Im not worried about this
I got it to work on 5.50 MHU
I used Yoshiro's game decrypter for playing 5.55 or 6.00 games
it works perfectly, you guys should try it, I can help out if you need it

Hey I have 5.50 Gen B in my PSP, no problems , i have been using it for 2 months now. I played, GI Joe, Gran Turismo, Madden 2010, Star Wars The Clone Wars Republic heroes, Marvel ultimate alliance 2 and no problem. I use also the Yoshihiro decrypter. Also if you go to
www.pspisoz.com you can get the games already patched for 5.00 m-33 and 5.50 gen b. hope this helps.
