I would like to watch my DVD's on the new Netbook laptop but since it has no internal DVD drive, I would like to RIP my DVD and put it on a 8GB thumb drive and download to the Netbook and watch while on the plane.

I have Movie DVD Ripper 6.0 but have forgotten how to use it.

Perhaps a little help on the easiest way to watch and which "free" movie viewer to use.

Thanks.

Thanks & Good Luck.

You have found a newer movie that shrink cannot handle.Soooooo

1) decrypt to HDD with dvdfab HD (free version) Or use paid for version
2) process files (all) with fixvts
3) shrink files with dvd shrink, output as iso/image to HDD
4) burn iso/image file with IMgburn

Here ya go( an ancient secret that I dug out with google...)

http://www.simplehelp.net/2008/07/27/how...ive-in-windows/

Under "file system",from the drop down menu, instead of FAT32 choose NTFS...
It goes without saying,( but I will say it anyway, because of the world we're living in...),if you have any info on the drive that you want preserved, save it in your computer before formatting, since formatting will erase it all...

means cannot format to ntfs, u need to live with fat32

the reason i requested format to ntfs is that ntfs will accept contiguous files >4 Gb whereas fat 32 will not
