Acekard 2i 1,4 fix problems

hey world before i start if somebody posted this problem before i apologize anyway Me and my neice both have a black dsi i also bought acekard 2i for the both of us well..she likes to go and update things so NOW her dsi has 1.4u firmware anyway i heard you cant use the fix with an updated dsi so i used the fix on mine...and this danny phantom icon doesnt come up after the update its still regular acekard 2i and its still not working on her dsi....am i doing something wrong? im using the right firmware and i place the update right at the root of the micro sd card. if anybody can help that would be great thanx

did you update on a dsl or dsi? and which "update" did you choose?

its a dsi and i used the fix for 1.4 so the acekard 2i can read the 1.4 update

there where a few update options, when you updated did you update using the dsi option or the dsl option, this might be better asked at the official forums or at GBAtemp, why dont you have two ak2i's? i think that there might be a hardware lock but that is far fetched, what firmware do you have and what firmware does your cousin have?

i have 1.3 dsi and my neice has 1.4 the firmware for the acekard is 1.7 i believe

ok thats better, first off try to re-update your ak2i and make sure you are using the dsi mode update and not the ds lite update, report back.

yea its the dsi update and i press start to continue it went to 100 and said to reboot dsi should i try the dsl one

not unless you have a ds lite on hand... try it on the 1.4 dsi first, if it doesn't work update it on a lite/phat

sorry for the wait, i usually am a bit faster but my bro turned off the pc "he's 3" anyways i went searching the forums and found this directly from the ak team...

hey, sorry for the double post... did it just in case you where getting updates via email... anyways, redownload another update*from an diffrent source" file and make sure it says "ak2ifw_update_14_DSi.nds" then run it.

yea man ive tried like alot of the updates from abunch of place and i dunno there not working.....but ummm would it be becuz the acekard MITE be fake..i personally think it is becuz mine has like a spring for the sd card and then one im tryna upgrade doesnt and then the one im tryna upgrade has this veryy visible sqaure in the middle of it where mine doesnt

it might be a fake"i doubt it" because of its hwid, where did you get it from?
it is supposed to have a spring in it, on the box that it came in, does it say DSI compatible? i know i got mine from dealextreme and it's legit.

yea it does says dsi compatiable..get this now im tryna do the update with a ds light and it keep saying take out card and reinsert and press b to continue...i think i mite just quit and buy acekard 2 compatible to 1.4 from gamebygame. as far as where i got it from yea i boght mine from deal extreme but my mom bought my neices from china town..so im guess hers is fake and thats why its not working

ok, have your mom take it back to chinatown and tell them that team acekard has a years warranty and that you think that this one is a fake and if it isn't then demand a new one.. what's up with the name change?

lol i didnt no i had to different name i just sign in with what i THOUGHT was mny regular sign in and i got this one..i like the other one better im tryna figure out wat it is but... yea thats what ima do if not just prob. buy a new one
