I've got some old VHS tapes (camcorder footage) that i've recently encoded onto my PC using a capture card.
I'm using Ulead DVD Workshop to put them onto DVD.
After making about 5 of them, and testing them (with success) in my PC and Playstation 2 console (the thing i use most for DVD movies) i decided to test them in other hardware.
I tried them in a friends DVD player - they work, then in another friends Xbox console - and they don't work...
Is there any reason for this? (and i havent missed the obvious - my friend does have a DVD remote for the Xbox :P)

Is there some way in which a DVD disk can appear to be complient in some hardware, and not in others? I'm using quality media that should be compatible with Xboxs (especially as they're less picky than PS2s)

Any ideas/suggestions?
