Hi, i have a PSP1003, on 5.50 GEN-B2 and trying to get Gran Turismo to work.
I've edited the eboot.bin files with 2 games using the hack instructions, one works ok (Dirt2) and the other doesn't (Gran Turismo).
The game starts, goes through the intro screens and then stops loading, I just get a black screen until I select "home" to return to the main PSP screen.
Any ideas anybody?

Yeah, I get to the data being created screen, and it freezes and I have to reboot. I would try using a different ISO, so I'll let you know what happens. BTW, are you using UMDGEN?

Oh, so the same problem as me!
Yes, I used UMDGENv4. Seems strange that Dirt2 works ok and GranT doesn't.
Will search for a patched GranT to see if that makes any difference.
Would appreciate it if anybody can let me know if they get GranT going

im doing the same stuff u guys r and well i UMDGen'd 3 games DIRT 2, GT, and MOTORSTORM A.E. i got motorstorm working but not the other 2. those games r all meant 4 5.55 and the patch is meant 4 5.50 GENB2 and i made Motorstorm work and i am running 5.00 M33-6. im hesitant 2upgrade cuz i no how shitty gen is but i hav a feeling my patchsll work
is it against forum policy 2 give u guys my patchs?

Well everyone, just to give you all an update.
The original GranT I patched had a problem. I noticed that when I compressed it to cso the file size reduced to 240mb. So obviously had a problem.
I now have another GranT version that works fine now. But when compressed is nearly the same size as the iso file (980mb).
So the first iso I had was a dud so watch out for them out there, it can be misleading.
The firmware 5.50 GEN-B2 is fine and so is the decrypter (fantastic job guys!)

i cant get the 5.50B2 to update just goes to a black screen i have tried 2 versions have you got a link pls for one that works

Sounds like you have the dud version like my first version.
Not sure i'm able to give you the link on here.
If I can give you the filename details I will.
Would that be ok you think?

Google the file "Gran 5.505.03GEN"
That's the name of the file i obtained
