I was going to backup all three of my godfathers. I was wondering if anyone could tell me how i could fit them all onto one dvd-5 disc that will play on my stand alone dvd player.

Speak for yourself! I do not find the question offensive in the least. This whole forum is about making backups of disks that you own and it sounds like this guy owns the three godfather movies so why can't he back them up.
The answer is I doubt that any compression program (like shrink) will be able to compress 3 very long movies (like the godfathers)into one disk. You may not even be able to get the first two on one disk.
I find dvdshrink can put about 160-180 minutes on a disk, max. Good luck.

It can be done but the quality will be so low that it won't be worth the effort.

Agreed!! Totally & wihtout hesitation

Millz018 has changed his original question from "i wanted to copy my 3 godfather dvd's for a friend" to the post he has stated now.

I hope I have made that clear !!!!
