Okay...went to several websites including wiihacks, gbatemp, and of course, this website. I have spent over a week trying to figure our how to get a backup disk of Disney Sing It to work with my Wii. I have a softmodded 4.1u and tried using neogamma r7. As with others, the game freezes at the microphone loading screen. I read so many forums about using cioscorp, multi cios installer, softchip 99, 100, etc., and I still can't figure out a step-by-step process to get the game to work without using the usb loader. Has anyone got this to work using a backup dvd yet? I have both PAL and NTSC versions of the game, and I'm using Verbatim dvd-r disks.

Which Disney Sing It?

I have HSM 3 and it works fine on my Wiikey modded system.

Are you sure you have a good working i.iso?

Here is a quote from a post of mine only a few down form yours Link

I quickly quit trying to run that game via Disk. I went to my USBLoader then used IOS223. Hermes222/223 I believe was written for USB devices used in Games. I don't know why it work only that it is used for Rock band instruments and worked for Disney sing it.

The game is "Disney Sing It Pop Hits." As for the .iso, obviously I can't tell whether it is a good working version or not. After reading quite a few posts (with no comprehensible solution), many have the same problem, and I doubt we all used the same .iso.

If using the USB loader is the only solution, what flash/HDD do you recommend (preferably an inexpensive one)?

" . . .I doubt we all used the same .iso. "

Don't be so sure. Unless you ripped your own backup or did a FC between two or more "different" .isos, all .isos typically have the same source.

When I get into a situation like this and I'm REALLY determined to find the issue, I make my own backup and compare it to the .isos.

That being said, yes, it's easier for me since I have 4 of the DVD-ROMs that can make Wii backups.

so unless I have a particular dvd rom that can read an original wii title, there is not way to tell if my iso is good or bad. However, I have seen "solutions" to my problem in other posts, but they make no sense to me (see original post). I just wish there was a step-by-step way to get this game to work. I also can't seem to get ahold of some of the downloaded programs these posts mentioned (again, see orginal post). Thanks for the help.

1. There is no way of knowing is the .iso is good unless you can compare it against a known working .iso.

2. Some games "just don't work" with modded Wiis. (modding is not a perfect solution, especially softmodding)

3. Some games just don't work on disc with modded Wiis but do with USB loader.

Sorry to sound harsh, but those are the limitations. If you want the game that bad, sometimes you just have to go out and buy the original.

I got this working on USB loader GX. You have to run it the same way as Guitar Hero 5 and Super Smash Bros. Instead of using 249 use 222. And if you dont have USB loader then im not sure but i'd try the guitar hero 5 softchip method which is pretty easy if you search. But it works for me.

222 ? I'm sure I use 223. Either way if one doesn't work try the other.

NEVER SAY DIE!!! I finally got Disney Sing It Pop Hits to work on a DVD-R disk!! Again, I have a softmodded Wii 4.1U (using larrylje's tut). I used the following explanation (hope I'm not breaking any rules using this link):

http://www.wiihacks.com/wiihacks-newbie-...its-help-2.html

The settings reedles66 is referring to is, of course, using ios 232 then making sure you enable the 002 fix and fake ios as well. Hope this helps anyone getting the "frozen microphone screen" on their Disney Sing It game.
