DS Lite repair - P6 connector

I see them for sale on ebay, but is it reasonable to expect I can replace this connector on a DSL mainboard? I know how to solder, but I'm not great at it. How hard is it? Has anyone here actually done it?

For those of us who don't have the connectors memorized or have a DSL mainboard sitting in front of us (I do at home but right now I'm at work) please tell us what the P6 connector is.

If it's a ribbon cable connector, you can forget about it. About the only solderable parts are the fuses, slot 1, and the power switch. Maybe the mic/headphone connector. Most everything else is SMT.

P6 is the touch screen connector (the small one, not the big one.) I just find it odd that they sell the part if it's really that hard to install.

Some people have access or friends that have access (I do) to the equipment required to de-install/install those connectors.

It is not a "do-it-yourself" replacement.

SMT soldering irons and a real steady hand, also very fine solder i was not able to fix mine, got the P6 connector off cannot get new one back on
