DVD RIPPING TO MP3 AS ONE FILE

I used the After Dawn DVD ripper to get the audio from a DVD. It took a little figuring out but after that it worked perfectly except for one thing. Instead of giving me one file from the DVD, it broke it into 4 files and there is a very slight pause between each file. How do I get it to rip as one file so there is no pause?

Never heard an After Dawn Dvd Ripper. Are you sure that's what it's called. That's the name of this site and forum but not of any ripper I ever heard of. Check it and get back to me and let's see if we can't get ya the help ya need.

Ok with this app there doesn't seem to be a way to stitch them together. But I have something you can try. It's called Audacity! You can take those 4 files and make 1. It's a small but powerful and simple app that just plain works...for a number of different uses. Here's a link. http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ Let me know if you need additional help.

Is there a way from the beginning to get one file and not have it break it into 4?

I don't see any additional settings you could change to accomodate that. Have you tried their support site at support@Jodix.com? Maybe they can assist you better. If not, then you may have to look around for one that will do what you want and is still free. I will say this about free apps, often times you don't get everything you'd like from an app. Just sayin'.

Thanks for your input elactronn, but I think he's looking for something that works in a free app or a way to make his current app create one file instead of 4 intermittent files.
