Ripping DVD for play with Itunes/Apple TV

I have been trying to fig this out for days and can not. With all the reading in the forum, so far I can rip the DVD to the pc (no prob) now once I convert the files for play with Itunes the audio is out. I have tried DVDFab6 among others which all give me the same out come. I have read others doing this but not with AppleTV so not sure if there is a different process or not. Basic reason for wanting ths is getting a my DVDs on my PC, put in shared movies through Itunes and then access them as I wish with AppleTV on largescreen TV.

As i know, appletv , ipod, iphone and zune are all different mpeg-4 format. so you need to rip dvd to ipod, appletv separately. it seem you need to buy dvdfab to mobile. i have not try dvdfab yet.
recently i bought a iTouch player and have tried a dvd ripper from SPAM and work very well.
