Now my gut instinct tells me that ill have better image quality with the one that just has the s-video and the audio cables without the yellow composite cable. (2nd one listed)
So, am i right, or does it not even make a difference which one i get?

AFAIK, the cheapest one that works is the best.
I got my S-video cables at the dollar store.
Although this link talks about HDMI cables, unless the factories in China are specifying different grades of copper wire for each product line, there is no electrical difference between expensive and cheap.
The only difference I can buy, is that the mechanical properties are different - so if the kids like to swing on the cables while the DVD is playing, it may be better to buy the $100 cable.
