Hey guys,
I backed-up three of my DVD's yesterday, but when I tried to burn today on Nero... it gave me:

4:06 PM: Nec_2500 Reset Occurred
4:06 PM: Burn Process failed at 2.4X (3,312 KB/s)

This happened 10 mins. into the burn.
I have searched the forums for a similar problem, but I could not find such a post.
If you could give me a link to the same post, or if you could help me.. I would greatly appreciate it

You might try uninstalling/reinstalling the drive in windows.

Updating the ASPI might help:

Are you multitasking while burning? Any other apps in the background putting load on your system?

Updating the drive's firmware may help.

My killer sig came courtesy of bb "El Jefe" mayo.

You might also want to update the NEC's firmware.

I burned at a slower speed and I don't have the problem anymore. I also used a TDK disc instead of the CompUSA ones. Which of the two caused the problem, Im not sure... But I am happy, thanks guys.

Moral of the story (an often repeated one), use decent media and when you find the brand that works (with your burner)... stick with it.
