hi all,
sorry need some clarifaction on my 5112 dvd-r writer
system requirements it reads on the box as
Min P3 300 mhz
500mhz for dvd playback
800 mhz for capturing to hard drive
and 1.6 ghz for capturing dvd video........
my system is a 1.4 celeron with 256 pc133 ram,120hd
nec reader, and BenQ +r/rw 4x (321 pkg)i use shrink with bundled nero fine. is wut im reading true with the toshiba writer my system is "too weak" for this writer thanx, puzzled newbie

You should be fine with your system. Ram at 256 could be higher but it should work. I seen members with less make dvd backups. Just follow the guides, use good blank media and you should be OK.
