I have a 160 gig WD hard drive, formatted as FAT32 at 152 gigs. If I partition this as 125 and 27 gigs, everything seems o.k. But on the smaller partition, while I could initially add folders, etc, later (hours) after a reboot, I could not add any more folders and got this error message "Invalid folder name or path pr folder already exists". Larger partition functions normally. By the wy I have WIN XP Pro instllaed on a Dell 800mhz, Pentium III, 384 RAM. Any suggestions on solving the problem?

For that size of drive I would use NTFS rather than FAT32.

It won't take a NFTS format. Keep getting error message "The second NTFS boot sector is unwritable". Only advice I can find is to repartition or reformat the drive. Can't reformat. Repartition to what size--no help given.
