Ive been wondering if its possible to run two dvd flicks at once, im only asking as i have a view files(not directly from disc) that take hour-2 and need to convert them to iso image using dvd flick.

i use to burn iso images from dvds with dvd shrink with 2-3 running at once

open it twice.. simple as that.. but you won't save any time over running them one after another... transcoding is a very heavy process.. even with 64 cpu's on the job I used to run consecutive conversions as concurrent just jammed up.

Why not just try it? Then, you could've upped ur streetcred by telling us about it...
You'd be an expert on something, figger that! ;)


Whenever I run two Vdub transcodings, recodings, the combined time goes up by more than double. If each task would have taken an hour, running them parallel could extend each to 3 hours or more.

That's why running them sequentially is better.
