Hi, I have just started using convertx3 and I don't really understand it there seems to be too many vts's in the folder marked Video-TS I use NTI cd & DVD maker 7 to burn I used to use Allok to convert and that didn't have so many VTS's I also don't want chapters I just want the film to start straight away, can anyone please advise me? Thank you, Tigress1

For disabling chapters, go to settings>chapters and untick both boxes. ConvertXtoDVD makes a simple menu that I have seen no way of disabling (probably explains the VTS's) but the root menu can be disabled at settings>DVD menu by ticking "skip root menu initially" and on the main page if you open the small box by your added video, you can remove extra audio tracks, subtitles. I've never had a problem burning with ConvertXtoDVD but I use ImgBurn anyway, better burner and it's free.

are you meaning the program convertxtodvd? the default setting is to create chapters every so many minutes but you can click on the settings icon (the hammer looking thing) and uncheck create chapter every...to not have chapters. also on the burning tab you can select to burn result to dvd and be sure to aleady have your blank dvd in the drive. you shouldn't need other programs to do anything at all. i personally like having multiple full length movies on one dvd (they are seperate title sets). You will need to expand the dvd options and check the autostart playback (and play titles one after the other if applicable or you want such a thing).

Hi Mistycat and Ryoohki, Thanx a lot for you help with my query, I will get IMGBurn I think I was worried that with there being so many vts's it wouldn't play properly on a DVD player, I will just have to try it and see, the reason I wanted to stop using Allok is because the credits looked like they had a pulse and the picture was like that some times, I would like to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, have lots of fun, take care, Tigress1
ps/ yes lol 2 seconds.

Season's Greetings to you too. If you ever have an issue with burned DVDs, try a good quality blank like Verbatim (made in Taiwan, not sure on India) or Taiyo Yuden and burn at 1/2 the rated speed of the media or 8x.
