I use dvd decrypter to decrype a copy of dvd to my harddisk. I selected Mode>IFO but did not select any at the stream processing. After burning a copy, the dvd can't play on dvd player. I've checked the files and found that there isn't any Bup files but there is one VTS_02_stream info and as usual the IFO & VOB files. May I know is it because of the missing Bup file that caused the problems? Can i still create without the master copy (as I've returned the orginal DVD). Should I choose the Mode>file for the normal decrypte?
A movie DVD requires IFO, BUP and VOB files - otherwise it's not a standard DVD structure.
Use 'File' mode and burn all the ripped files.
Alternately, rip the files using file mode then use DVD Shrink to re-author the movie to remove unwanted content.
I tried dvddecrypter again, this time I select Mode>file, but the file decrypted still don't have BUP files, only have IFO and VOB. But the VTS_02_stream info file missing this time. I'm using the ripped copy to decrypted again or u mean I must use the master piece? May I know what do u mean by 'Use 'File' mode and burn all the ripped files'? Dvddecrypter can do burning?
