Ok hi AD, im new to these forums :)
Well anyway, usually when i encode and burn its fine because the files are usually about 700mb - 1g or so.
But yesterday i tried to Encode 3 episodes of Dexter (500mb Each) the files had a slight delay, meaning the words didnt match the mouths.
I am here to ask how to fix this & is this due to the fact that am i trying to encode too much media to fit onto a disc so software compresses it or something and then the words dont match?
Also, could this be due to the fact that i use a menu this time?
I usually dont.
******
Digimax DVD-R blank media (4.7g , 16x , 120min)
imgBurn for burning,
DVD flick for encoding,
Driver:
HL-DT-ST GH22NP20
******
Note: im not sure if you needed them details i just added them incase.
Thanks in Advance.

download a programme called convert x to dvd, this is a better programme to use and its easy to work. this will fix any oos issues itself and 1 disc can usually hold up to 3.5-4 hrs of video without any noticeable loss in quality. burn at 4x speed. 4 episodes of any tv series you want to back up on 1 disc is a good rule of thumb.this programme converts and burns the videos itself and is far quicker than the programmes you are currently using.

clerisy - Hi and welcome to our humble abode. However you should really have been searching the forums for yourself whilst awaiting an answer instead of 'bumping' your first post. Also, please rezise your signature image, the pixel size is fine, it just needs to be 50kb or less. Thanks.

Another thing that works for me is AviMux_GUI: http://www.alexander-noe.com/video/amg/ as long as the files are avi and the delay is constant in the encoded file. Download vl 17.8 binary [free]). Open each avi in it, highlight and select generate data. In the lower window, highlight audio and any delay will appear to the right in ms. If other than o, select start and make a new file to encode (takes less than a minute with no quality loss). Works even when the origonal avi plays fine on the computer.

Have a look at Ulead MovieFactory, encodes, authors, burns and lets you add customizing features like chapters, trimming the video, music and an image. Think trial limits available backgrounds to around 30.

Here is a link to a new view of your image. The new image size will be fine for the forum.

Right Click and select, "Save Image As" and then name the file whatever you like. Save it to your desktop first, and then go to the site where you want to host the image and upload it.

The original file is 128Kb. and it needs to be around 50K or less. Keeping it the same size is going to lose some of the color. I can reduce the size of the sig for you and keep all of the color if you like. Let me know if you would like me to do that and I will be happy to. It will not take me long at all to make the changes.

I've made the changes. The first link is not active any longer but here are two new links. They are smaller than your original and the smallest one retained the majority of the colors. I can make it smaller if you wish.

Well, there could be several reason for the words not matching during playback. You could be burning too fast, the use of poor media (I'm not familiar with Digimax), or you could be burning too close to the edge for the media that you are using.
I'm not familiar with DVDFlick or on how good of an encoder it is, so I will be no help there. As far as adding menu's there are several free programs you may use to do this with. GUI for DVDAuthor, or DVDStyler are two free ones. There are also paid for programs like DVDLab Pro or my favorite DVDReMake Pro
As far as encoding software goes, I and most of the members on this forum use DVDRebuilder Pro. DVD-RB gives you the option of encoders to use. Most people use the free HC Encoder, while some of us use CCE or Cinema Craft Encoders.
I hope that some of this information may help you.
