How To Burn MKV File To Double Layer Disc?

Right guys I have 2 mkv files I am looking to put onto double layer dvds. This is because there to big for a normal blank dvd.

What software will I need to burn the MKV file onto a double layer disc?

Also will I need to set a layer break or not?

Is there anything else I need to do?

I am looking to burn these files and play them in the LG BD370 bluray player to see if they work.

AFAIK, if you use ImgBurn, you would burn the disk as a data disk (from the splash screen select 'Write files/folders to disc'.
Use Verbatim+R for best results.
The layer break is selected automatically (only when burning DVD format files are you offered the selection of layer break placement).

If no one pops up with the definitive answer, you might try the ImgBurn forum.
