If you've got Nero 6, Nero Vision Express will easily and painlessly do the job. You can stack AVI (all types), VOB, Mpeg1/2, PAL and NTSC (together if you like). Start to finish/burn without the need of any other program.

Just to add an alternative to the mix ... I use:

MainConcept MPEG Encoder to create MPEG2
TMPGEnc DVD Author to convert to VOB

P.S. Next time do a search biohunter [read Forum Rules] because if you had used the 'search messages' function you WOULD have found a plethora of threads explaining software/methods used !!
