A friend of mine did try to softmod without waiting for me as he was supposed to. Now this morning he send me an email telling me that he have a blackscreen, is there anyway to fix a bricked wii?

Ask your friend if he installed bootmii before softmodding. With a cboot it is possible to start hackmii installer. After installing HBC with this installer and exitting the installer the WII will start HBC. So now you can install anything via HBC. It is however essential to have bootmii installed before doing anything else.

He did install bootmii but told me that the screen remain black, how can i start bootmii if he have a black screen?

Not a very good reaction. The reset button has nothing to do with bootmii. The reset button is for preloader. You can check if bootmii is installed by removing the SD card. When you turn on the WII you should see two blue flashes in the DVD slot. When you don't see the flashes there is no bootmii and no way I can help you to unbrick the WII. Let me know if there are flashes when booting.
