Best way to compress an iso file?

I have some copies of some DVD?s that the iso file is too big to fit on a normal DVD how do I compress the file so it fits?
The biggest iso file is 7.73 GB.

These iso's are not movies they are information of cars that I upload into a program I use.

How can I compress these iso's so they fit to a DVD? I own Nero but if a different program is needed I will buy it if it is necessary (I would rather a free program)
