I have been using DVD Shrink and Nero Express to back up DVD's. I've gotten a couple to work successfully, however, when I tried backing up the movie S.W.A.T. I have had problems with the chapters. It goes through the menus, but when I select "play movie" it gets hung up on some sort of a warning. I've searched for anyone with this problem, and one post said something about watching the original to see if there's any differences, but I don't really know what to look for. Anyone have any similar problems or know of any ideas? All help is appreciated. Thanks!

what kind of media are you using? it could be bad quality which would explain it. Also have you tried playing the disc in more then one player?

I'm using value discs...are they any good? I havent tried it on a different dvd player but I will check that next. It seems weird to me, because the menu and everything works fine...it's when i go to play the movie part that it stops half way through. Could it be that DVD Shrink isnt compatible with all movies?

It is probably the media being hit & miss , but leaving details rather than cheapo/value title would help a lot !!

There are plenty of users that have backed up that film [SWAT] using DVD Shrink , so I would put it down to firmware not up to date or media... hard to say with such little info though
