I have been lately having troubles with my backups. I recently backed up "Nba Ballers" and it takes forever to load the menu and anything else, getting to the beginning is just like normal but everything else takes a long time. I have had this happen with other games too. I use DVD Decrypter and burn at 1x. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions to helping this problem, because I read that everyone else has 100% perfect copies for their games that are new, and I'm having troubles... please help, thanks!

i am using memorex DVD-R 4x, but just recently bought some Ritek G04's that are coming next week, and people said that could help out bigtime. My ps2 version is 4, why would my ps2 version have anything to do with it?

If you were using dvd+r your ps2 might not be able too read it. v1-3 can't read +r, some v4's can't either, and v5+ can. Since you are usinging dvd-r that is not the problem.

i noticed that my backups were having trouble loading they were so slow they were un playable so took me 2 days to read and figure out how to make them work !
i found that downloading a programe called (RecordNow DX ) write at 1x this fixed the problem and now they play super try it worked for me.

Hold it right there! Memorex sucks! It often ruins your ps2's laser, if it can even read the disc at all. I highly suggest you get Verbatim DVD-R format and then try burning it.

I usto use vertaim but then they changed the format. the new 16 have a really hard time reading in my ps2. they only boot if the console is lying down and even then it reads slow. the memorex read great and even when the console is standing verticaly. so memorex works better in my opinion.

NBA Ballers has very long loading times thats how the game is but your saying your having trouble like that with other games try another media
