acrylic case---MSI K8NNeo4 Platinum SLI Socket 939 ATX Motherboard.----AMD Athlon 64 X2 4800+ /2MB Cache/2000MHz FSB/Socket 939/Dual-Core.---2x Viking 1024MB PC3200 DDR 400MHz Memory.---4x Western Digital/Caviar SE/250GB/SATA-150/Hard Drive.---Ultra /--X-Connect / 500-Watt psu---2x MSI GeForce 7800 GTX ---Leadtek WinFast PVR2000 TV Tuner---windows xp professional---like a million fans---Sony DRU800A/16x8x16x DVD+RW/16x6x16x DVD-RW/4x DVD±RDL/White/Internal DVD Writer--a memory card reader i think it fits most types---a windmill fan controler gizmo (its sweet)---56" dlp as monitor
Sound Blaster X-Fi elite pro---and your every day floppy disc reader so i can do school stuff for the stubborn teachers that wont let u use a usb memory stick....thats about it
..ithink..any recomondations on what else to put in it pm me...

7800GTXs? Well, what would you replace them with? The only system that may be able to top them is a crossfire system. If you mean downscaling, I wouldn't bother. I doubt you'll get a price representative of what you paid for those cards if you sell them.

Twin 7800GTXs in SLI can only be topped by twin 7800 GTX OCs. ATI is close to or has released it's competitor for the 7800, but even if you wanted to go ATI, you'd lose too much money on those 7800s for no benefit. SLI only takes identical cards, but can use them better, than crossfire, becuase crossfire is adapted to use identical or different cards.
Like everything else, it's arguable, but untill someone chimes in with an ATI crosffire rules statement, I won't waste time at anandtech or arstechnica.
Fanboy is a term used to describe someone who is utterly devoted to a single subject. This generally is followed by the devotion and support even when proved wrong.
Anecdotal, by my definition, it's the way too many people here think. It's also all the evidence you have.

Given that (at least where I live) Crossfire isn't even out yet, I'm not in a position to say so. I do have a sort of bias for ATi though, so my opinion is limited.

i think im goin to stick with them i just wanted to free up some space in my cse and keep it from gettin too loud with all the fans but i guess ill just water cool it

Some fans do perform well, but don't touch water cooling. For keeping a system cool under heavy overclocking in all deartments water cooling will really blow away fans, and it's quiet too, that's nice for PVRs or workstations that run a hometheater.

I have a HP Pavilion 7915, it has a Pentimum 3 1.1 proc, ASUS board and 512 of ram, do not know the pin size of the proc, wanting to know what is the fastest proc I can put in.

With a Pentium 3 CPU, you might be better off upgrading the motherboard too as ddp suggests. In fact, he's covered everything I'd say, so follow his advice... :D
I agree with the outdated cliche of approaching thunder, although your reaction is a little dramatic, as always.

actually guys i had a read up on that old cliche and you know its only attributed to nephilim..............
As computer parts are more readily obtained and are easier to purchase than like 5 years ago, it doesnt matter if you get a new one or be like me and upgrade continually.All you really need are the essentials,BOARD, ram, caompatible graphics card more or less as ddp states.I went from an amd 2600+ to a p4 3.2 for around $500-.

For $300 after $200 in mail in rebates you can get an AMD Sempron based computer with printer and CRT monitor form Best Buy, I would really just start there.
And, to admerr, denial is not generally dignified with response.
