Ok I have a geforce fx 5200 with 256 video memory. Is a geforce 6600 LE with 256 video memory better or is it the same or should I leave the fx 5200 in the pc and ignore the 6600 LE

The geforce 6600 LE with 256 video memory is better. It is 128-bit instead of 64-bit and its GPU is 500MHZ instead of 250MHZ.

pcrepair: So you don't experience any issues with any of those games?
Dante016: The 6600LE is mildly better than the 5200, but a 6600GT will see far better results.

make sure there aren't any spaces anywhere. the brackets must be square and the end bracket must have a forward slash before the img, and the URL must include http://

Ah. I see the problem.
The image mustn't be a redirect. Take the URL that your redirect goes to, not the one people must use.

You're running a 7800GT and get 6902?
Interesting, I run an X800 Pro and get just under 5000 with an Athlon XP chip, so you're not seeing a vast increase over my score, about 40-45% I suppose.

Hi guys mind if I butt in? I plan on upgrading the Amd system in my sig.The processor I have chosen will be the A/64 3800 X2.
I have couple questions...First I was thinking of buying the Asus A8V S939 mother board because it supports my recently purchased Geforce AGP card. The savings would allow me to buy another 2 gigs of the OCZ ram increasing it to 4 gb total.

What do you think would be more beneficial to overall performance...the increased ram or a different motherboard and a pci-e video card?
All suggestions are appreciated,Thanks in advance.

Main System- Amd/64 3800x2 currently@ 2.5ghz. Asus A8N-E,win.xp-pro.4x1gb.Ocz platnium ddr 400,Maxtor 40gb.& 250gb.ide & 2x W.D.250 sata,Benq 1650V dvd Reader & Benq DW-1655 Writer,EVGA Geforce 7600gs,Creative Audigy-LS,Antec 750w psu. Vizio 37"hdtv monitor 1360x768@75hz.

To be honest mate, you really don't need 4GB of memory at this stage. Once Vista has come out and you're running 64-bit, then it will make sense, but for now you don't need it. I think you're money would be better spent on a PCI express motherboard and graphics card. Start cheap, like an X800GTO, then move up later if you want to upgrade. There's no point in having 4GB of RAM this early. Best time to buy meory would probably be a month or so before Vista.
