It isn't so much price but also XClio are known to make good quality products. Sunbeam are known for the opposite.

Nah. I've heard some dodgy things about Ttake PSUs and their cases aren't built fantastically either, so that should be an indicator. I CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH HOW IMPORTANT IT IS NOT TO SKIMP ON YOUR POWER SUPPLY. Slower PC if necessary, a good PSU is a necessity, One day a cheaper unit may decide to go pop an destroy your whole PC, data and all. A better unit will not only be far less likely to do that, but also won't usually take your system out in the process. I know, I've been there. I usually recommend a $110 Hiper power supply to people, it's that important. As long as you're using under 450W though, that XClio I provided will be sufficient.

I've heard plenty of good things about their PSU's and my Thermaltake Tsunami is one of the nicest cases I've owned.

Interesting. I'm not saying Thermaltake is a bad company at all, but I know of a slight quality control issue with a Soprano case, and I'm never sure to trust a company that primarily makes cases with a PSU.

True they're known for making case but that doesn't mean they don't also make some extremely good HSF's too ;)

I've used Thermaltake's HSF's, Cases and PSU's and my experience with them has been great.

Is it common for defect memory as I have just built a Computer (see sig) and MemTest has found 2612 Errors. Yet Windows Boots up fine, But you struggle playing a Game for 5 mins before the BSOD.

Pictures:

http://i69.photobucket.com/albums/i53/dsgtrain/Memory/02.jpg

http://i69.photobucket.com/albums/i53/dsgtrain/Memory/04.jpg

Also, whats a average temp for a Athlon 64 3800+ CPU (Not the X2) on the stock HSF as mine hits about 47c at full load under Prime95 (If I can get it running for long enough before the BSOD).

Thanks, Dave.
