I've run the file through virtual dub and it says that it can't compress a file with dx50 on it whatever that means and it won't run anywhere with picture. It took me a really long time to download this so I don't want to get rid of it. PLEASE HELP.

1. Try opening the file in TMPGEnc
2. If that doesnt work, answer this, do you have any divx codecs installed??? because the movies you download are divx!! (which you probably already know!)

i have ra-codec and virtual dub and I'm afraid I don't know waht TMPGEnc is

TMPGEnc is a free mpg encoder!!!

The Radium codec is for mp3 compression. You'll need DivX 311 Alpha. You can get it here!!!

advice:

1. get virtual dub here: http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_tools/virtualdub.cfm

2. open the file in virtual dub *file>open video file*
3. click file>file information, and see what it says for decompressor.
4. just get nimo codec pack, chances are pretty good that it has the codecs you will need. download it here: http://www.divx-digest.com/software/nimo_pack.html
