I was given links to guides on how to use Clone DVD v.2.0 by Elaborate Bytes which is not what i needed Does anybody have or can tell me the directions on how to use Clone DVD 2.0 ? I heard that I might have to use DVD Decrypter first which I know how to use, but how do I use Clone DVD v.2.0? If there aren't any guides to it, what other programs besides shrink can i use to make a DVD as 100% possible with extras and stuff. CloneDVD 2.0 seems like it could do it, but the movie didn't play in my dvd player after i burned it.

lol, CloneDVD 2?

i use that - great program can backup anything

----- as long as you use a program in the background called anyDVD to unscramble the DVDs ----

because CloneDVD doesent do css encrypted DVDs mate, so its a driver that wokrd in the background to De-CSS the DVD they work perfectly

by the way CloneDVD 2 is now slysoft program

if you have any more questions post here

I believe he's referring to this CloneDVD2:

http://www.clonedvd.net/

I'm not aware of any guides or any users here reporting good or bad about it. The whole site seems shady to me.

Personally I use DVD Decrypter to rip and DVD Rebuilder (free) with CCE Basic ($58) to re-encode. You can find a link to a guide in my signature. I don't think there's another backup method that can touch it for high compression unless you count the $2000 version of CCE used with DVD Rebuilder.

i use shrink and decrypter. But I tried using CloneDVD 2.0 by CloneDVD.net. It burned successfully, but it did not play in my dvd player. I had no errors or anything. Are there any guides?

As I said before, I'm not aware of any guides. How much did you pay for it? The site wants $99 to download. Personally, if I paid $99 for an app and it didn't work perfect right away I'd be hollering for my money back. If you're using the trial, take this as a really good sign to not buy it.

I ran "clonedvd2 guide" through Google and Teoma and came up with nothing but hits for the Elby product.
