cracking them is illegal just about everywhere.. game jackal won't break any of the modern ones.. hasn't worked since 2k or thereabuts.

this topic breaks the "no indepth cracking discussion" .. you need a "no cd" crack.. so obviously as that's a copy protection crack it's breaking that rule isn't it.

why don't we just give up bothering with rules and post crackfound.com links all over the site.. seriously tempted.... obviously no moderators are working any more...

This moderator's still here, not been here much lately though. As said above, we don't entertain No-cd cracks/cracking. I can't believe in this day and age people still don't know about "No-CD" fixes, such things've been around since forever. Answers to such things however are all 'out there' (ie outside of Afterdawn) for the finding, but as i say, that's not what we're here for.
Games can be bought really cheap second hand, there's no need to waste money on them brand new, buying used games saves all this messing about with protections too.
