Okay, I made a mix and have ripped it to my computer, first using Exact Audio Copy to create a cue sheet. I then loaded that cue sheet into mp3 Direct Cut and have chosen the "Save Split" option. Is this the right way of saving the mix? I want to be able to listen to it without gaps in between tracks when listening to it on my mp3 player. I see each individual file is a separate mp3. If not, what is the right way? ALso, how do I edit the track names to ensure they are still in order of 1-11 when being played?
Thanks,

It would greatly depend on your player. If it uses play lists use that for the order. Otherwise you will need to find out what it uses to sort then edit what ever that is to 01,02...11. Different players key on different things such as file names, titles etc to sort. As far as the gaps you will need to have a player that will allow you to remove the dead space between the tunes. I no not know of any but that is something I wouldn't look for. Many mp3 players use on computers do that.

Yeah, I guess it's easier for them to download the big file, it will be continuous. If I included the cue sheet, would they be able to burn it as wave files with track marks?

I don't know any that do that either. Cue sheets will work with any format such as mp3s; they do not need to be waves. You are left with one file with one name or gaps.

burrrn will handle the CUE sheet and burn a gapless CD, with order preserved..

Yes, any burn app that uses a cue sheet will do that but he will loose the track names. So he either loses the track names or has the gaps between the tracks.

If the MP3 file(s) are properly tagged, you will certainly not loose track titles..If the MP3's are lame encoded there's a good chance that SW player(s) like foobar2k will decode and playback gaplessly, as will burning apps like burrrn will burn a gapless CD with track titles and order preserved..

Again if they contain gapless tag info, they will play gapless, which some players support..
