DL layer break with ISO

Hello,

I have a ~8GB ISO without a proper layer break, and I've been able to burn it with ImgBurn (bypassing errors, canceling a horrendous attempt at verification), seemingly without any issues in the end result.

In the future, however, I would like to be able burn this ISO flawlessly, without having to worry about any errors. The original product was AVI files that I processed with ConvertXtoDVD to make one large ISO. What is the simplest way to create an ISO with a proper layer break? Will I have to start from scratch?

If it makes any difference, the resulting ISO was slightly too big for a DL disc so I passed it through DVDShrink to quickly mend that problem.
