I posted this in one of the other forums, but still no responces...
I've made about 7 coasters over the past two weeks but no DVDs. I have in the past successfully burned DVDs, but can some point me in the right direction here? The error code "writesector failed code 06 29 00" has something to do with a power reset during the burn process, or that's at least what I've gathered so far. Any ideas? Thnx!

I'm having the same problem using DVD X Copy Express.

Here is an excerpt from the log file:

I was burning using copytodvd, but I had the same problem with Nero 6 as well. I'm running win xp sp1. I've tried to update the drivers, but that hasn't seemed to help either. The media I'm using was quiet cheap and so that could very likely be the cause of it, but I was wondering if someone with a technical inclination could tell me exactly what that error code means...

Just an update. I'm using XP Pro SP1. DVDX Copy Express. I do not have any problems when I use imation DVD-R. Only when I use the Platinum DVD+R (they were cheap). My Sony DVD writer supports both formats.
