Hey guys, i need help choosing parts for a PC that i want to build. The only problem is the budget is $500-$600. I know i cant afford an i7, but what about an i5? ATI vs NVDIA, which one is better for a card costing 100-$200? I already have a monitor but not a mouse or keybord.

$600 without a mouse and keyboard is a bit tight for an i5 really, your best bet is going to be an Athlon II X4.

This lot comes to $630 or so shipped [excluding tax] but has $30 of mail-in rebates to bring it down to 600. If that's still a bit too much you can cut the size of the hard drive. I wouldn't recommend getting anything else at a lower price than these or you'll be severely compromising performance.
