Making sure your software is up to date should be the first thing people learn in the backup business. New movies come out every week, new protections come with them. Spread the word.

If the box is checked in program settings, AnyDVD will check automatically for updates so, you will always be up to date. Slysoft will even send you E-mails too.

If you have a paid version and they have a proper address...
So true about paid version. I bought mine back in 2003 when they first started. Just after the Studio 321 fiasco I fell for. I don't do Blu-Ray yet but, I upgraded last year anyways.
@ RANDWILL version 6.6.0.3 November 11, 2009 theres been 13 updates since
I now own the DVD and attempted a backup.
With latest ANYDVD running, i used DVD Shrink to rip main movie only to hard drive. Then I used autoGK to turn it into a perfect looking 1GB .avi. Its currently stored on my home media server.
Nothing new or difficult here, no problem if you use the right tools.

Anybody had any luck with DVDFAB. I'm using 9.0.9.3 and it freezes during the download phase (blue bar stops after 4 or so trips across the screen. I perfect success with Under the Mountain and tried Kick Ass again. No dice.
