Burned dvd's squeal in bluray player

I've tried a few brands of medium , but have recently had a problem with burned dvd's squealing in my Samsung 6500 bluray player.

Store bought dvd's and bluray play with no noise , just the burned disks , i'm not sure but i think that a couple of firmware updates ago is when it started , could this be due to a update to the firmware?

Probably not firmware related. Does this happen with any type of blank media? What brands have you been using?

I've tried many ,, sony , maxell , memorex ,and a couple of other brands that i can't think of right now, and even some of my older disks that played fine before are doing it as well.

How long have you had your player for? I don't think it's an issue related to how you're burning your discs, more likely the hardware. Try cleaning the laser with either a disc cleaner, or manually with some isopropyl alcohol and cotton buds if you are able.
