I have used suprnova and bittorent in the past with no problems however recently I tried and when i click the link instead of opening the file download box it loaded a lot of random characters (looking somewhat like a source code)I have the latest version of bittorent 3.4.2(have also tried azureus 2.0.4.8 with the same result) i am running windows XP home with the technical preview of SP2(i was having problems before SP2)any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

I'm looking for help with this issue too. I have a similar problem, except I am running Windows XP Professional instead of Windows XP Home (with a preview of SP2). I've tried adjusting the security and privacy options, but that didn't do anything.

The trick is to right click-->Save Target As (save to anywhere on your computer) and double click the torrent link that you just downloaded. Even though your computer may say that what you are saving is a text file, it is really a torrent file that you can click on and begin downloading. I learned this technique from suprnovaforums.com.

Let me clarify on my last post. I meant to say to right click the torrent file you see on suprnova and then click "save target as". Then double click on the file you just downloaded to start up the torrent.
