Howdy y'all Im looking for help/suggestions on a case ... these are the requirements:

- SHEER quantitiy of 5.25" bays, in fact I dont need a single 3.5" bay at all. This is what I'm runnin now and all its bays (internal and external) are 5.25" http://store.yahoo.com/amamax/prsiatxmualc.html but im outgrowing its cooling capacity. Specifically I think I'm going to be looking at at least 9 such ports: 2xOptical Drive, 2xFan Controller, (2-4)xHDD, 1xMatrixOrbital the more the better however

- Aluminum cases are not a requirement and I will just as gladly take a steel one
- Windows are not required and in all honesty I'd rather a case without a window since, when I cut my window, I have a specific idea in mind
- Must have room available for 2x80mm front fans, 2x80mm rear fans, 2x80mm side fans (different diameters are acceptable however they must be at least 80mm) ... an added bonus for cases with one or more exaust ports available on the top (they must be internal mounts however - i.e., we attatch the fan on the inside side of the top side of the case and have it push air out)
- Must come in black or not have too many stupidly small parts to allow me to paint it
- Locable is nice, a front door is nice too.
- Those fancy front USB ports or front headphone ports are not a requirement
- If you can find a case that meets those specs, price is not an issue.

Since my requirements ask for both 2x80mm intake fans at at least 7 bays and prolly approaching 9 or 10 bays, I'll definitely be looking at a server tower as opposed to a full tower im running now .... ideas anyone?

Yikes! (LOL)
Praetor we are lucky you are not a Car-Guy, you would achieve 1KM/L and 600BHP, and have very noisy exhaust pipes... I have never built a rig like you describe, but I bet the electric will flicker for a block in each direction when you switch it on. Yes keep fans inside so it will not lift-off like a Sikorsky!
But seriously I wish I had 1000 computer clients like you. Closest thing I have used is Acer HX08 Full Tower case, very big and only $100 Canadian bucks.
Thank you for your help on AfterDawn and I will keep my eyes open for you.

Ok Praetor....
I think first of all u need 2 invest in more cooling to stop that RAM overheating.. im still recovering from the burn marks... lmfao ;-)

Oh god thank you!!! LOL I've got the active cooling setup on the memory now so its not a problem :P

... *runs off to check out cases*

I wonder what those two side fans are supposed to cool....the CPU and friggen power supply?

Im not looking forward to cutting steel but I can live with that ... It would have to be AT LEAST the 12x5.25" model since it doesnt come with 2x80mm intake fan slots and even that might not be enough

Yes, no photo, cork suction. (There we go - no spaces, that's the trick)
Thought I did it right the first time but the Indy500 is on and race-girlies were distracting me...
What the heck is P gonna do with >5 bays 5.25"?
He wants no 3.5" so he will prob use them for HDs?
I require only one 5.25 for my combo-drive.
I know, I know, Vanilla (yes my server is beige)
You guys are gonna be a good influence on me, I might build a killer Tower myself.

Im using all 4 5.25 bays in my current tower...
DVD-ROM, DVD-RW, CD-RW, Mobile HDD Rack, then im using 2 3.5 bays for 120G HDD and 3 1/2" FDD..
Plus i should be getting a new 200G hdd in a few months to add when i save some $$$, so really i needa think of starting 2 get a bigger tower aswell.. the only problem is the $$$.
Im gonna start modding it up, at current all i have extra to 2x Neon Light case fans, 1 in front, 1 in back.
And a semi-window... The sides are neva on it as im always playing around with it :D

Forget the 5.25" bays, your contollers are getting scarce!
Yes, a killa tower; giant Popeye-sized mutha that moves a lotta air - I will post photo's.
My Barton is idling at 51 Celsius at this moment; goes up to 61-62 when I rip, kinda high eh?

Lian-Li completely outdid themselves with this case. Just when I thought cases could not get any better, Lian-Li offered me the case of a lifetime; one that is so ?perfect? that any flaws could not be seen during this full evaluation. I have reviewed many cases in my time as a reviewer, and this is the first time that I have seen such a huge case with such great attention to detail. From the soundproofing foam lining the drive bay cut-outs to the removable power supply plate and indented power supply rack; including the anti-vibration rubber washers and special screws for the super-duty hard drive rack, and the extremely clean and professional front swinging aluminum door, there were no flaws that I could have seen under a magnifying glass even if I tried." - TwistedMods.com Review

Yes but there are a lot of things CD burners are shitloads BETTER at doing compared to DVD burners.

My CD-RW drive can burn discs @ 52x whereas the DVD Burner can only burn CDz at 24x... All DVD Burners are like that, they burn CDz at a lower speed.

I like a lot of them ... the main consideration seems to be that they dont have enough external 5.25 bays or that they do and there arent enough frontmounted fan slots. :|
