Yeah, i think your requirements, you might not get Praetor...
I have seen heaps of nice looking ones with 6x 5.25 bays but above that, well they start looking like a ... hummm Server... lol
U may just have 2 take the front off, get a drill and start modding.... :-)

LOL i dont want my case looking like some teenybopper's "leet" computer that their parents bought for them or something you know? (which is why i tend to avoid the ever-so-common Chenming/Antec cases everyone seems to like to show-off :P)

None of them have enough externally accessable 5.25 bays! :( (and they are mostly midtowers if im not mistaken). I do like Chieftek's BX model tho, its a refreshing change from the overused AX601. Hehe apparently aluminum isnt metal... (or isnt metal enough :P)

Looks like im gonna be buying another Prism (damn im getting bored of this case lol)

Lol that looks ok ('sides I intend to grind it down and repaint it ... always wanted to do that anyways). Very nice indeed (and yes it was already suggested)... how many of those 5.25s are external accessable (since I put all my hdds in hdd brackets/coolers anyways).

I like the dual redundant 350w power supplies. Do you think that more might be required for your needs? I'm building a new system too I've been waiting for PCI express. Are you building a server or starting a busines that requires that many 5.25 bays? I'm kind of leaning toward a Lian Li case with 6 5.25 bays, I'll be lucky to fill those. Just curious.

I know that you had suggested it earlier but I posted before I remembered. Hm you don't think that Praetor didn't follow your original link do you? The only thing that I posted that was different were the specs. LOL

I clicked on the different links to pop up pictures of the front and side but I think I also annihilate javascript for that site when it came up so I was kinda SOL :P

Not really, I'm looking to power other things than just my computer with that PSU (a buddy of mine, electrician, made a bunch of variable DC voltage convertors that use the smaller molex connector to convert to the type of plug that you find on DC adaptors (cant remember what they are called) but in either case, I dont use floppy-type power connectors since I dont have a floppy drive so I might as well use that power for other stuff (in either case I rarely use the PSU that comes with the case, I get my own beforehand).
Quote:

Two fan controllers, two optical drives, potentially a wattmeter from the PSU, 4+ harddrives each with a harddrive cooler (havnt decided between the new Hardcano or the Vantec one) Add a Matrix Orbital and thats potentially 11 as it is hehe.

Anyone have any idea what that fan looking thing is on the side view of the case? That's gonna be a pain in the arse if my harddrive racks ram into that thing. ... and god wtf is with the bottom mount PSUs???? Bad idea, all the heat generated by the PSUs (potentially the second warmest thing in the case) will be floating up toowards the main area ... ugh bad designers! bad!

Oh I did, I just accidentally firewalled that site from making use of scripts and popups and virtually everything else :P

Seems like a decent case ... except for the PSU issue .... i guess with only one PSU I can use a duct to use a 120mm fan to force most of the heat out right away but dunno we'll see ... i got a month to decide :P

Was just teasing Neph, I thought you must have missed something, it happens. BTW if someone could tell Asus that we don't need floppies then I could update my bios without one other piece of useless old technology.

The BTX form factor specification gives developers options to balance thermal management, acoustics, system performance, and size in the system form factors and stylish designs that are desired in today's products. The BTX form factor is a clear break from previous ATX form factor layouts and was developed with emerging technologies such as Serial ATA, USB 2.0, and PCI Express*.

Thermal improvements come primarily from taking advantage of in-line airflow. The BTX defined in-line airflow layout allows many of the main board components (i.e.: processor, chipset, and graphics controller) to utilize the same primary fan airflow, thereby reducing the need for, and noise from, additional system fans. In some cases this also allows fewer and/or less expensive heat sinks to be used when compared to ATX solutions. The system level acoustics are also improved by the reduced air turbulence within the in-line airflow system. The BTX layout supports better component placement for back panel I/O controllers ? important as the signal speed of external devices continues to increase. In addition to smaller than microATX system sizes, BTX was designed to scale up to tower size systems using the same core layout by increasing the number of system slots included.
