Need help with Powerpoint to dvd-r

Is this even possible without having to buy some software? I've been doing my research on this and all leads go to an advertisement to buy software. I have a cd-r written in powerpoint and I would like to put it in dvd-r format, although I guess any format that will play on my dvd player is fine. Any one have any ideas on how to convert this??

I think powerpoint will handle the format, but you will need to get a dvd burning program.

I have dvd decryptor, Nero, clone dvd, and cdrwin. I just need to know how to convert powerpoint to either dvd-r or anyother format that can be read in my dvd player.

Are you talking about recording Powerpoint presentation (document) so it can be opened in Powerpoint on another computer?
OR
Are you talking about recording the presentation in a 'movie' format so it can be viewed on a regular movie DVD player and TV set?

I want to take a cd-r thats written in powerpoint and convert it to any format that is compatible on a dvd player (hone unit). I dont care if its VCD or DVD-r, as long as it can be viewed on my TV. There is one more thing I need to add, because others have asked, but it is a slide show that has music behind it.

he, he ... sorry this is off the powerpoint subject. But you can make a slide show with music with Nero Vision Express. It can be burned onto a dvd and watched on dvd players.
