Hello im trying to burn an image of a 360 game and for some reason anytime i change my book type to anything it says Unknown (FAILED!) im using an aopen duw1608/arr a110 i need to be able to burn it dvd-rom but all i get is unknown failed any help would be greatly appreciated also im using vertabratim DVD+R DL's to burn

im also very new to this whole scene so i could use any tips i just finished flashing my benq drive and was looking to try out some things when all this started happeneing


same thing also happens when i use imgburn

although not only does it say Unknown (FAILED!) in imgburn und that it also says REASON:invalid command operation code


im guessing its my dvd drive but i had hoped not i need to know the best dvd drives to burn xbox 360 games or ones that at least most defintly work.

you don't need to change the bitsetting.. +r is fine.

It's probably that aopen drive.. how old is it? It's not one I'm familiar with for 360 disks.. which as a 2004 vintage probebly means they don't work. There was a firmware update in 2006 .. have you ever updated it? .. http://forum.digital-digest.com/showthread.php?t=68276

Not sure what are the good drives these days.. I use a samsung sh-s182
